I decided to educate myself and found lots of useful stuff on the Sustainable Energy Authority Victoria website and will be incorporating quite a few of things they suggest into our house, whether this will make our house green smart I don't really know (we're building considering orientation of the block, putting in double glazed windows, hydronic heating, solar panels, water tank, making sure windows are positioned and sized properly, etc).
