Designer Driveways are doing our ashpalt driveway as well. If you ask the guy he will give you addresses of places he has done. There are a couple near our house and he does a really neat job and it seems to look very well compacted and just a good job overall. Sooooo much cheaper than concrete too! We have about 300 sq m required so it made a big difference to us.
Wow, that is quite a large driveway! I think I'll have to check the covenances but I'm not too sure if ours has to be concrete.
My hubby had a few Qs today so we called our customer service administrator who advised us after talking to our SS that they were cutting our block today!!!! Yay! I couldn't help but going for a sticky beak! Did anyone else think that when the site is cut that it doesn't resemble the house terribly well? We have a step down for our garage and our alfresco which I can pick out, but it looks as though nothing else is to scale. I should have taken a tape measure! Down the garage side of the house we have to fit the laundry, media room and family room, and looking at it, it looks as though they left out the media room! I'm going to try to go out when they bos it for the slab (should be next monday) so we can chat to SS and make sure it's all good.
Real progress - finally! It feels so good!
