Re: Custom Build at The New Rouse Hill - Off we go!!! 5Nov 21, 2010 9:15 pm Hi there nrh157, good to meet another New Rouse Hill resident. We have spent a fair bit of time lately at the pool and playing tennis and I keep saying to my hubby, "I can't believe we are going to live here!". I hope your admin work gets done ASAP and they can get started on your build. Fence, port-a-loo and preparations for the slab to be poured late this week or early next week. It is such a great feeling to see something happening after buying the land way back in April. PICS!! 9Dec 14, 2010 5:55 pm Hi MrsJo. Congratulations on starting your build! We're still in the final research stage at the moment and we're looking very seriously at going with The Right Build, so I would love to hear about your experience and progress with them. Please keep posting updates - looks like it's all moving along nicely so far. Best of luck! Re: Custom build @ NRH - Loo, fence, scrape. PICS!! 10Dec 14, 2010 9:40 pm Hi Wrinkle. We are happy so far with Right Build, and can recommend them. We sought out a few people who had built with them, I even knocked on strangers doors, lol!! and everyone was really satisfied with the quality of their work. They are doing heaps of houses at the NRH where we are building and have a very good reputation. Where are you looking to build? PS Slab was poured last week and looks great!!! PICS!! 11Dec 14, 2010 10:30 pm Hi MrsJo, Very interesting build, especially for me, we are starting to build (hopefully next month, fingers crossed!) a house which is almost identical in floor area and also almost identical in what rooms we have (except we have 5br + a "multi-purpose/storage/future bedroom", I guess that could be 6br technically!) Many of the rooms are difference sizes (our lounge and laundry are a lot smaller, our theatre and pantry are a lot larger, etc) and of course layout is totally different but will be interesting to watch! PICS!! 14Aug 28, 2012 12:04 am MrsJo, Glad to hear that you are in your house. It's nice to know that there is at least one person who has made it through a build with them. Since last night I have found 2 other couples building with TRBH who are in the same boat as me. Thanks for your reply I'd get the gutters to match your roof and pipes to match the paint - otherwise they become a feature. Nice pick with the paint colours! 1 26285 6 43094 Thanks NativeZen! I can't wait to start landscaping, though it's going to be a while away yet. No movement on site yet as of the weekend. Hoping to see some earthworks… 3 2160 |
