Colourbond & Anti-Ponding Board

hello Everyone,

Currently we are looking at possibly installing Colourbond for the roofing

We are not totally sold yet, but we are getting close to deciding

One question I have though:
Does anyone know if anti-ponding is still required for the roofing IF Colourbond is chosen (instead of concrete or terracotta etc).

Does anyone have any experience with any of this guff?

My understanding is, anti-ponding board is only required if you have sarking installed.

As for whether you need/can have sarking with colourbond roofing, you will need to check with your builder.

Yeah sorry I actually probably didnt word my question very well.

What I really wanted to know is that if anti-ponding is required when using colourbond WITH Sarking

I wasnt sure if the colourbond acted as antiponding board itself.

I was concerned about how noisy a metal roof might be (lot's of differing opinions on this) and this is suppose to help reduce noise and condensation along with adding additional insulation properties.
