Is it exciting or just a bit of an anti-climax? I guess with all the fixes to do it's not really finished yet is it. Good news about the roller door though! Hopefully mine turns up sooner than later.... That key thing sounds a bit weird. Which doors are different? I would have thought they'd all be the same? Oh and what happened with the downlights? Did they get changed? To be honest I was underwhlemed more than excited at handover as I still had/have a massive list of maintenance stuff for them to do - nothing major but still a few pages worth - and no updates on the things I had been nagging them about for so long! Got a list from CLO via SS on the day saying painter and maintenance on Friday (this was cancelled as my timber is going down) and tiler MOnday, rest of items "next week". Our footpath expecially through our driveway is smashed and a massive slab missing so we are not using the driveway and noone has been able to tell us what exactly is happening but after my email today asking, was told "everything is happening next week you know this already"... No.. this has been a seperate issue and noone has ever told me whats happening and I apologise I am not a mindreader. The front and shoppers are the same, side laundry different and back sliders and different keys as well. No idea what they were thinking... DH will get them sorted ourselves and at least get rid of one key... Downlights - no TBH I forgot to ask about them!! Too much other stuff - like yesterday finding our toilet is not screwed down or attached to the wall!! We said we'd never build again.... Re: Our Switch Homes Custom - keys in hand 237Apr 09, 2011 11:04 am check your sinks too... our scullery one wasn't tied in you could pull it out of the hole..... and one of our basins was set slightly off centre, it's doing my head in...might have to fix that one ourselves Follow Feggle viewtopic.php?f=31&t=34992 Follow lilfeggle viewtopic.php?f=31&t=37149 Asbestosis Sux! Hopefully it's only one more week of pain and then you can get in there and make it yours. Built with Sw1tch H0mes >Build thread< House status 15/12: Gates and A/C finally installed! We said we'd never build again.... Re: Our Switch Homes Custom - keys in hand 240Apr 10, 2011 11:31 pm Yeah I reckon! Umm, this is your house now, not theirs! Oh well, the sooner they do it the sooner they are out of there I guess. Would you believe that all that was done this week at ours was the rubbish out the front was taken away (well actually you probably would believe it).
