My Build, viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64837 Re: How often do you visit your site? 442Aug 07, 2014 11:54 am We have only demolished our house recently and waiting for the contruction to start. The new rental place is only 2 mins drive and I still go and have a look at the beautiful land once every 2-3 days! During my last visit I saw the builder has done the pegs and I felt so good seeing some "progress" Re: How often do you visit your site? 444Aug 08, 2014 11:47 pm Once or twice during the entire construction period. Once we ramp up I'll probably drive there every few days during my lunch break since I work close:) We drove past our empty block 1-2 times every week fork the past year. That was depressing! Re: How often do you visit your site? 446Aug 23, 2014 2:14 pm Pretty much every day. We are only 15 minutes away and its near one of our closest shopping centres so I go past there all the time. Ive avoided it the last week tho as I know nothing is happening! Now that its started will try to just go visit on days I know they are doing work. Our first home: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=72839 Re: How often do you visit your site? 447Aug 26, 2014 10:32 pm So glad to see I'm not alone. I've been driving past our vacant block on the way to work once or twice a week. Once construction starts, like everyone else, I'm sure I won't be able to stay away. Will be nervous to go behind the fences the first few times, but getting it right is the most important thing I guess, and we don't know what we don't know once it's covered up and built over ... Re: How often do you visit your site? 453Sep 04, 2014 9:06 pm We go 5-6 times a week, including the day, after work, and on weekends, for all those who's ss gets anoyed ,bad luck, this is your sweat and blood of many many years ,and getting it wrong or getting it poor, will eat your time and mind afterwards. Re: How often do you visit your site? 454Sep 19, 2014 9:56 am The number of times you visit obviously depends upon how far the construction site is from your place, your current schedule etc...But do visit at least 2-3 times a week. Make sure the builder is there whenever you visit and don't try to pass on instructions to the tradies. Highly recommended not to take your children with you.
