We have one of those trees outside ours... Hopefully it wont impact as much as they say.
Weve been quoted 3-5 weeks till they start our build! But they hinted closer to 3! So excited!

My soon to be wife and I are going to be building a house on block 13 Chardonnay bvd. We got told of the block just after xmas. not sure why it became available as it had the sold sticker on and most builders were shocked there were still smaller blocks available. We are still waiting for our soil report and as we are building with fairmonts they have allocated 12k ontop of the initial ~12k. We are suppose to be getting finance approved by the 31st of March however that needs council approval and by the looks of things it has taken most ppl over 3 months to get that, so i am a bit worried however fingers crossed. Also interesting on the dealings with the fairmont sales rep SW.. if it is the same SW who is based at a coasted display village, we also had a major issue with him! Hopefully all your builds are coming on well and you might see a yellow getz driving around all the time inspecting everyones colour schemes... hope you are ok with that coz its our first build! Cheers, Jon and Ally Re: Nottage Rise Reynella SouthAustralia 96Feb 23, 2012 11:03 pm Hi Jon & Ally! Ill keep an eye out for you, we're down at Lot 27, but we tend to pop down every other day or so. What plan are you going with? We went for a drive around and there are so many foundations being poored recently Quick question? who was the company that did your soil valuation and how long did it take to come back TLV Ham? we submitted all the paperwork to fairmonts about 3/4 weeks ago and i just hate this waiting game and i dont want to keep contacting them Cheers, Re: Nottage Rise Reynella SouthAustralia 98Feb 25, 2012 11:36 pm Hi Jon & Ally, We had a prelim soil report from buying the block, but im not sure of the timeframe for the full soil report & footings to come back. Onka council is really good at getting approvals back, so dont panic. Once you have your bank pack you can submit it to the bank for your finance approval. Which paperwork are you referring to? The build contract or the land contract? They wont start anything until you have finance aproval and have finished all your selections. Im sure the soil report isnt fair away. -Ham Building: Custom Design with Fairmont Homes Land Bought - 7.6.11 Council Approval 6.10.11 Cut Start – 8.11.11 Progress Blog: http://house-ham.tumblr.com Password: home Re: Nottage Rise Reynella SouthAustralia 99Feb 28, 2012 3:32 pm Finally - the builders will be on site this week... so now for the soil removal (only a small 277 tonnes worth!!!) Has anyone had any quotes cheaper than $15 per tonne?? Re: Nottage Rise Reynella SouthAustralia 100Feb 28, 2012 9:41 pm Call fairmont ... see if they need any soil at seaford . then you only need to transport it instead of paying to dump it. Ours was 400 tonne and cost $1200 from memory.
