Re: Estuary leopold 3Dec 06, 2010 3:41 pm Hiya, I'm not in Leopold, but over in Marshall. Who are you building with? Re: Estuary leopold 4Dec 06, 2010 7:19 pm Hi sparklystar! Thanks for your reply. We're going to be building with Burbank. Just had our soil tests and about to have our colour selection apointment. Has your build started yet? Re: Estuary leopold 5Dec 08, 2010 8:13 am Nope - looking at titles early next year... so they tell us! Re: Estuary leopold 6Dec 09, 2010 2:33 pm we're considering building with Vinmar, but haven't signed contracts yet. Re: Estuary leopold 7Apr 30, 2011 8:14 pm Heaps of new houses popping up at the Estuary. Any H1 members building there? All the displays homes are now open with the 'Grand Opening' this Saturday. Re: Estuary leopold 8Jan 02, 2012 3:17 pm I will be building in Estuary at Leopold as well, just waiting on the Title.....sighhhh. It was suppose to be released in October 2011, then they said November, then Mid November, then January..... well it's now January and hopefully the Title will be released in the next 2-3 weeks. I'm building the a Dennis Family Home - Cosgrove 321 with some alterations. Went to Beacon Lighting today cause they have a sale on Ceiling fans I am still at the early stages with Dennis Family Homes, I haven't done any colours yet either. My younger brother is also building with Dennis Family Homes in the same estate, actually he's just in the next street, so he will be able to keep an eye on things for me Re: Estuary leopold 9Jan 02, 2012 6:25 pm Hi Ozzie_Skip1 I hear delays with titles are very common (& fustrating). We are building in estuary, our land has titled we are waiting on permits hopefully start feb. I can't wait for it all too start. Dennis family homes have a good reputation we have known a few ppl who have built with them before. Re: Estuary leopold 12Feb 12, 2012 6:30 pm Whooohooo my Title came through last Monday and I sold my house on Friday, couldn't have timed it better if I tried I know they have drilled the holes to see what sort of slab is required, and I know the surveyors have been on the block too but still waiting to hear what's going on. The sale of my current house was real fast only had it on the market for 4 weeks, it's a 30 day contract, but all's well moving in with other family till the house is built to save a bit more money. My brother also build in Estuary, he just got possession of the house on Friday, moving in next week....again good timing cause so much of his stuff is at my house hahaha! I'm just glad my house sold so fast that was the on thing that was bothering me, the thought of having a massive loan till the house sold. Will post when I know more...... Exciting and scary at the same time all this! . Re: Estuary leopold 13Feb 12, 2012 6:32 pm coldecol We are also building in the Estuary. Ozzie_Skip1, looks like im in the same stage as you. 13A? Yup above the Rock Wall Re: Estuary leopold 14Mar 28, 2012 11:24 am STAGE 7 IS TITLES WILL BE THROUGH ON 11th of APRIL!! FINALY Re: Estuary leopold 16Mar 29, 2012 9:57 am mrskb Yay!! I got my letter today although it didn't say April 11! Our letter says 2-4 weeks! Need to get finance organized ASAP!! I emailed alan he said titles 11th april and settlement can take 2 weeks! yay! I too need to get my finance organised! mrskb, have you sorted out your house? who have you decided to build with? Estuary leopold 17Mar 29, 2012 1:30 pm We prob won't start building until August-ish as we need to get a house deposit together. Will probably be building with Barry walker homes, who are a local builder. My husband is stressing that finance won't be through in time, but I think it will be fine. What street are you on again? Re: Estuary leopold 18Apr 15, 2012 6:27 pm My new house will start being built this coming week Whoohoo! Gosh there's some massive sized houses in that Estate! I'm glad I didn't try and do my colour selection in one hit, I knew I wouldn't be able to make up my mind in one session. Though I was able to decide quite happily on the External Colours. The second time I went back to choose inside colours, carpet and flooring, I came away pleased as, and the third time I went back I did not change anything except upgrade to a better quality carpet. The only added changes to the house I made was to get a triple sliding door, and upgrade all windows and external glass sliding doors to a double Glazed, I will reap the benifits of making that decision.
