Recommendations pls ?? Fencing in western suburbs, Melbourne

Hi there.,

Can anyone recommend us a good fencing company in western suburbs of melbourne. Our build is in final stages and before we move in, we need to make sure that fencing and driveway is up ... Also how much approx it much cost ?

We are building in Manor Lakes Estate, Wyndham Vale.

Any recommendations would be really appreciated.

Thanks for the info Phillshz but my mistake I forgot to add western suburbs in Melbourne. Sorry about this. We are building in Manor Lakes Estate, Wyndham Vale.

Have you found somebody to do your fencing? We are close to you, in Point Cook and looking for a company to do our fencing and driveway as well. Would much appreciate any advice!

Avoid Jim's Fencing, I think it is the Hoppers Crossing one. 1st one was in the wrong place so we lost land and we demanded he move it, he still hasn't removed the posts from the wrong one 3 months later and there is no fence cappings. The second one blew over in a mid strength wind because he only used about 3cms on concrete at the base of the post, and no cappings again. He did come and fix it but it is still wobbly.

U needa fence in Tarneit are quite good.

I also agree about the previous post on Jim's Fencing. We emailed them initially for the quote and eventually got one back, but then were unable to get in touch with them to tell them that we wanted to proceed. We sent about 6 or 7 emails asking for some variations but no reply. In the end we decided to stop wasting our time and look elsewhere.

We had our timber fencing put up last week by U Needa Fence in Tarneit and we can't fault them. They were very pleasent to deal with and priced very well!

Hi Marie,

We are still looking for it ... Our back fence is done by u need a fence and we have heard that they are quite good ... They are closed for the melb cup, will be back on wednesday. After that they would be able to gimme a quote ... So we will probably go with them .

I disagree ! I used U Needa Fence on the recommendation of my builder. It took over 40 days from start to completion and the office staff I dealt with were very unprofessional and abusive. So I'd never recommend U Needa Fence ever.

Instead of searching online for a fencing companies people, walk the streets and and find some samples of fencing you like. Most add signs or ask the owners. Go quality over price everytime.
