One of the builders we saw would not let us take a blank copy of the preperation of plans agreement to have a look at. It really put us off. Any ideas why they would do that? I don't want to sign anything without getting someone else to look at it. The document is a contract and you are entitled to seek legal advice about the contents prior to signing.
The builder wants your signature now because once they have it, they know you are less likely to pull out over the 10 day cooling off period than if they don't have your signature at all.
