Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Dave's Warner Lakes Mansion - * THE FINAL COUNT DOWN PG. 161Mar 31, 2011 8:23 pm OMG You kept that quiet!! Yay for you. It feels like you just started building and you now moving in. We are still waiting for council to sort their crap out. So over waiting. Re: Dave's Warner Lakes Mansion - * THE FINAL COUNT DOWN PG. 162Apr 01, 2011 10:14 am Told you they`d make it before easter, congrats on the speedy build and i hope all goes well with your place. As for mine, well it`s slowed to a crawl at this point in time. The tilers had been back during the week to finish the porch and grout the floor tiles, but as for having a driveway dug out and formed up,incorrectly sized window replaced, smashed glass replaced, correct laundry door fitted, site cleanup, sanders in and done and painters starting late this week nothing has happened and well it just doesn`t look like we will make it by easter now. After telling me all this in person whilst standing inside the house! What if we had gone ahead and organised to cancel things and prepare to move in the week easter starts! You would think the SS would be the first person trying to buy time and telling you all will be good! Re: Dave's Warner Lakes Mansion - * THE FINAL COUNT DOWN PG. 164Apr 05, 2011 9:18 pm Moved In Can you believe it? From the humble beginnings camped out in the freezing cold on the porch of the Warner Lakes sales office, to finally stepping through the front door of my very own house. It still hasn't really sunk in yet - but I'm in. I'm still rushing to the shops each day to pick up more essentials and ringing around (council, gas, power) making sure everything is in order. It's still a bit of an ongoing process, but I'm almost there I moved in last Friday - just the basics of furniture, sheets over the windows for now - but that will do I'm in. Yaaay! So here's some photos that I snapped over the last day or two. Nothing spectacular, just some pictures of the finished product! MOVED IN :-D PG. 174Apr 06, 2011 3:27 pm Nice work mate. Good to see it all come together! Must agree with the folks above that you do indeed have taste. Just done my prestart and pretty much through my research out the window, in turn throwing mum's ideas of what it might look like out the window and changing my brick colours on the spot. Loved it! It seems I too have the same front door handle (but not having a red front door - will not suit my facade colour scheme ) Re: Dave's Warner Lakes Mansion - * BAM!
