Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 26, 2010 11:25 pm Hi, has anyone chosen thicker skirting boards and architrave's as an upgrade? I am interested to see what they look like before we commit. Our theory is that if we have thicker skirting boards then when we have our floors laid after hand-over they won't look small as we will need to have that ugly wood edge added.
