The Chicago was on my shortlist because I loved the kitchen, sadly the other half didn't feel the same. Re: Sheznay's Build w Life$tyle- Keys and Gifts! 388Sep 14, 2011 5:05 pm Thanks all! Love having keys to the house!! DH has all this week off to start packing down things and moving the bulky stuff up, like outdoor furniture/play equipment/shed gear, and then he is off away to work next week, so I will be doing the rest on my lonesome! I have some mood boards - yes, I am getting very fancy these days. This filled a quiet arvo at work. Oh well, there is always bleech, and the covers can be washed. After the kids grow up, I will buy myself one of those fabulous Freedom couches. I just used Word doing the old copy and paste. To get them onto my photobucket I had to 'snip' screen shots though, as photobucket won't upload word docs/pdf, etc. Building with Life$tyle Homes in Perth SOR Key Dates on First Page of my Thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=38761 Re: Sheznay's Build w Life$tyle- Mood Boards. 394Sep 15, 2011 10:17 am Hey CC101. I think the telstra connection cost $299, is whether they have to channel the phoneline into the house. My service provider, IINET is going to come out to install, but has warned me that if it's not connected to the street phone line, then Telstra will charge $299. Most of my friends whom have built have ended up paying this. As far as I can remember the builder installed the phone line to the metre box, and Telstra need to install it from the metre box to the street...... I may be wrong, but I didn't have time to listen and I figured I would deal with it once IINET have come out to have a look. We ended up having to get a lot of the slab prepped for the planks as I didn't tell the painted to watch the floor. All the paint drips have to be cleaned off. So the floor prep has come to and extra $1k So he won't be finished till next Tuesday now, The moving truck isn't booked until the Friday after, but still, I would have loved to get a start on things this weekend. I am going to get DH to put up the curtain rods for me this weekend while he is home. At least then I can measure the curtains and take them up, if I need to. I got all my curtain rods from IKEA for $250. Yes. The WHOLE HOUSE. Except for the Games room window as that is 4.1mtrs wide and I am going to have to get one custom made. I have a few painting Pics..... The Hogs Bristle Quarter strength has come up really well. My SS told me to pick something that will make the cornice stand out, (because I was thinking about a white) but he was right. It really does draw your eyes to the fancy cornice. The rest should be in by the weekend, depending on when my mate gets a second.... Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ My 2 daughters rooms are where i went a bit mental with the colour. The red is for my 1 yr olds room. I am thinking a lime green doona and I have yellow mats, flowers etc to tone down the Red!! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ This is the 3yr olds room. I have found some white butterfly decals to decorate the wall and most other things will be white, or floral. She wants a sparkely doona, I don't know where I am going to find that. I think a trip to spotlight might be in order...... Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ and lastly....this is the master... I kept going back and forth from brown to green.... I landed on the green because I have that beige throughout the rest of the house... so I thought something bright might be better in here. I think once I get a bedhead in, it might not be so in your face! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I think, that is about it for me!! Will take more pics over the weekend of the floor.
