Nice photos! What's the colour of your render? The Grandview floor plan is still fresh from my memory... very nice one. Nice bi-folds! We have the same size. Well the painter finished inside yesterday and will be doing the final coats outside today. Our bench tops were installed on Wednesday, happy with the colour combinations especially in the bathrooms/ensuite which we were a little concerned about. Got to see it all for the first time this morning. Things are never meant to go smoothly though, the bench tops were installed without the waterfall sides and front edge capping. ![]() We had a site visit with the SS this morning, I prefer the old one but it can't be easy starting a brand new job and being given a house that is behind schedule and told to finish it on time. We will see how the next couple of weeks go. The SS first question to us was "should the island bench have waterfall side" are yes ![]() The set of drawings he has don't show it because this was something we picked up and was updated after the set done for construction ![]() ![]() My other issue is with the shelves in my butler pantry. The original plann has straight shelves however we decided that to give us some more room we would use the void behind and have u shaped shelves. Well I got u shaped shelves but the put ends on them so it is now very enclosed. I know this is for support but the plans don't show an end and if I known it would be like that I wouldn't have bothered paying the $180 extra ![]() We will wait and see what happens ![]() I know you all love photo's so here are some more: view from entry Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ main bathroom Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ laundry Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ ensuite Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ main bed Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ kitchen Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ butlers pantry Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Outdoor room towards inside Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Tilers have started onsite today and the fit off is booked for next Frudaty with PC proposed for 16/5. We're neck and neck i think now!!!! It looks stunning, nice colour selections...it's always a bit of a worry until you see it all come together isn't it? Those waterfall ends will be fixed in no time...good to see your new S/S noticed it!!! What a stunning view out of your bedroom window BTW!!! Lucky you!!!! Keep those gorgeous pics coming.... I love the look of the kitchen and the bifolds are beautiful. Keep the pics coming. New Home 132May 03, 2008 12:29 pm Hi there,
I must say, your new home has ... WOW FACTOR all over it! I really love the bi-folds, and how you can see straight through!! HOT!! HOT!! HOT!! HOT!! HOT!! ![]() Re: Met9icon building - canal 133May 04, 2008 3:27 pm Hi All
Thanks for your great comments ![]() Quote: Is that a sink in the pantry? Yep D@n sure it it was one of the things that sold us on the design. Quote: and how you can see straight through!! This was another thing we went looking for in a design and what helped sell it to us. There will be nothing better than welcoming people to the house and them seeing the water the moment they knock on the front door. Wow factor was what we were after for resale - a long way from now though. Quote: It looks stunning, nice colour selections...it's always a bit of a worry until you see it all come together isn't it? Still not sure about them Nicola. The skirt/door colour are darker and have a pink tinge to it. Hoping the tiles will chnage that though ![]() Quote: I also notice we use tiles from the same company : marcopolo e-stone. Which tiles did you go for Oznow? Ours are called Lithic Noce GI-Porcelian 600x300 we really liked how they looked in the display home. They cost us about $2500 extra due to laying costs but I think it will be well worth it. We are having them everywhere except beds 1-4 and the Home Theatre.
