Good luck with your build. services accounts generally need to be opened just before pre-start - and then you simply give the details to your DAH contact. Certainly nothing needs to be done before titles are issued! Glenariff is a lovely spot - are you towards Ranford Rd or at the back (near the 'you-know'what')? Re: First time builder in Canning Vale 5Sep 16, 2010 2:56 pm Hi Althom As a fellow DAH client - Welcome. This forum is a wealth of information. Instruction re opening your account with Synergy and Alinta Gas will come by way of a letter from DAH when they confirm pre-start and send out your pre-start pack. Until then, you don't have to worry. We phoned and opened both on the morning of our pre-start appointment - it was no trouble at all. Re: First time builder in Canning Vale 11Nov 14, 2010 10:14 pm If the blocks aren't titled I'm pretty sure you can't do it yet, how can you get power for a block that for all intents and purposes doesn't exist? We had the same issue, but did prestart without them my new build thread- Ben Trager https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89826 my switch build thread (2011) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=36569 Re: First time builder in Canning Vale 13Nov 15, 2010 3:33 pm althom If you want to be sure just ring Synergy and Alinta and they will tell you if they can set up your accounts. We never had to ring the Water corp as they rang us to check on things We had to wait until our old house was demolished to get the power and gas accounts set up - so don't worry that's something they ask everybody to bring at pre-start.
