They probably want same guy back as they have probably paid him already for your job. Re: C0mm0d0re Homes, Ellenbrook, Back on track..for now 127Dec 03, 2010 11:18 pm Thank goodness. As for brickie on leave it was prob team leader who went on leave so rest team cant work. My brother is roof tiler and thats how it works with them. Random question - how long from when your file went to construction did you get a slab? Re: C0mm0d0re Homes, Ellenbrook, Back on track..for now 128Dec 04, 2010 11:39 am Not long at all I don't think...I would estimate maybe 2-3 weeks? Re: C0mm0d0re Homes, Ellenbrook, Back on track..for now 129Dec 04, 2010 12:50 pm I'm sorry I didn't visit earlier - for some reason I got unsubscribed from your thread ![]() ![]() ![]() Being nice in those situations unfortunately doesn't help. They think they can walk over you - you show a bit of dog attitude and they start treating you different. Especially when they know the fault is on their side. If she is rude to you then I would suggest asking for the manager and demanding that they change your CLO to someone who can act professional. Lodge the complaint and you may end up with more respect and proper answers. ![]() ![]() ![]() Did you book the building inspector? What were the prices they gave you? I hope we are at lockup by the time we come back! I also hope, for their sake that the crappy piers and slab are fixed...otherwise inspector time. Any news on your PCI date yet? But i looked through the info we got when we purchased the land and because it is fibre optic?? then it is meant to be cheaper or we get a rebate Any info about that would be great?! And also think the flyer said something about the cost of getting the cable from the road to your front door is covered too...but I have NO idea about anything to do with it... Thanks ![]() The road to success is always under construction House completed April 2011 - slowly making it a home... Re: C0mm0d0re Homes, Ellenbrook, We have a roof...new pics 137Dec 13, 2010 11:10 am Not sure but I know that our builder (along with telstra) are putting some power box thing in our garage, we went through it at prestart. Re: C0mm0d0re Homes, Ellenbrook, We have a roof...new pics 138Dec 13, 2010 12:14 pm Zarli im not in your estate but i am with Commodore Homes and we paid $850 for some intelligent home thing which includes cables underground etc & we got phone point, data point & tv point as well. I dont really know much about it apart from she said everything will be ready we just have to call our companies to connect once we done handover. Does the quotes you have include digging the trench etc? I also remember ready on letter recently that once house is plate high (so before roof goes on) i had to organise phone point. No idea, ill ask CCA once we get to that point Re: C0mm0d0re Homes, Ellenbrook, We have a roof...new pics 139Dec 13, 2010 1:05 pm Try to remember if you had Velocity package in your contract with builder, do you have data points on your plan? Usually the builder does all of this around $500 for the whole package. It will be difficult to do it after - run cables through the walls. It will be on your plans if it's included. I know you get $1500 rebate from Telstra but from the top of my head it's only offf the services not installation. Wouldn't hurt to call Velocity support and ask. I lost the brochure so can't really check. I think we got it from LWP not the builder. contract 10/11 prestart 04/10 slab 06/10 bricks 07/10 roof 09/10 plaster 10/10 Ceiling 10/10 LOCKUP 10/10 tiling wet areas 11/10 garage floor 11/10 PCI 12.01.11 handover 11.02.11 https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=39361&hilit=malvern+springs We are in !!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: C0mm0d0re Homes, Ellenbrook, We have a roof...new pics 140Dec 14, 2010 10:24 am ![]() It will be difficult to do it after - run cables through the walls. Dont worry Zarli. The TV points cover normal tv and foxtel in 1. And we've got 1 phone and internet on the same plate as we do wireless modem and handfree phone sets, so no need for more. But also any extras can be put in your double cavity walls. We kept ours rather simple, we had the most knowledgable prestart consultant and hopefully what she told us was right!
