Is this acceptable? (paint colour)

Ok, now that the *heat* has dissipated from aaurora's icon (lol), I can mention that I *may* have had a win with the builder (yay for me!).

I sent the builder customer liaison a word document having both photo's for comparison as well as the pre-start consultant who had supplied the list of colours from the display home. The customer liaison called me up and after a nice long conversation they said they would contact the construction manager and see if I have a case for a repaint. I am thinking it was the effort of the pre-start consultant who swayed things a little.

Now we just have to get the following fixed:
- Cracks/dislodged bricks in the retaining wall
- Hammer mark dents in many of the door frames (interesting theory concerning a disgruntled tradie)
- sunlight coming through the roof (no, its not covered with sealant)
- Hole/gap in the main bedroom ceiling/wall
- Covered up power point (despite warning them of this before plastering)
- Ripped garage ceiling (someone swinging from the elec cord)
- Front garden tap in wrong spot (stops fitment of side fence)
- Downpipes swinging in breeze (????)
- Gable roof overlay rippled

Me thinks I will be hiring the services of an independent building inspector...

Thanks for everyone's comments, I was undecided in raising concerns now or at pre-handover - but I am not all that confident that many of the issues were going to be addressed before our pre-hand over inspection.

I am thinking now it might of been better to not do a weekly inspection and just put up with the weeks of repairs following the pre-hand over inspection in avoiding the stress we are going through. Any issues we have raised has been answered with "we'll address it later on" and was explained to they weren't addressed immediately to allow the tradies to keep on plan for other houses. What this means is our finish date is pushed out further owing to repairs. So we should of just waited for 'delivery of the car' rather than 'visiting the factory' every weekend lol. I just didn't want in ordering a red car to get an orange one with metal streaks he he!
