Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building with Dechellis in Magill 421Mar 31, 2011 6:25 pm We had a lot of cracking in the joins : joins in the gyprock and joins in the carpentry. The cracking was in most corners in almost every room. They have come out and filled the cracks and have painted over it, but the paint is a darker colour (Mouse) and it is really obvious where they have patched. We are still trying to have it resolved. Most of our other issues have been happily resolved : privacy lock not working, missing silicone, squeaking taps, nail heads visable, etc. about your 'fly poo'. How embarrassing! Re: Building with Dechellis in Magill 423Apr 19, 2011 11:25 am Hey Tam! All going well although nothing exciting with the house. We have had the maintenance guy come and start fixing all the little things from the 3 month report. The most exciting thing is that our grass is going to be put in after Easter so i will have some photos then. Its hard to post on my thread now as I seem to not be doing much. At least once the grass goes down, we can start putting in some plants so it will start feeling like we can use the outside. of course, it will then be winter so we will have to wait a while before hangining out in the back garden!!! ------------------------------------------------------ Handover: 14 December 2010 Current: Putting in plants! Are you getting the same guy to do your lawn that did the retaining wall? Or is it someone else? We are waiting for our neighbours so we can get the fences done, they are fantastic but are being held up by their neighbour so it is a domino effect and I am getting sick and tired of waiting. Shouldn't be too much longer now though Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Anyway all is looking great at your place, and Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ with the lawn this week, I can't wait to see some piccies. Re: Building with Dechellis in Magill 429May 10, 2011 3:48 pm Given Tam's interest in the garden, here are some photos of the garden before the grass went down. It was excavated and the irrigation system has gone in: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I'll take some photos on the weekend of the finished product.
