Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 08, 2010 5:59 pm hi all the problem started when my builder ****** homes. neglected to lodge correct paperwork to council, namely engeneers report and not waiting for building approval. they went ahead and laid the slab and put the frame up the council promptly hit them with a stop work order. which took them 4 months to rectify. my last post was about the boundry isseue that is still going through court .both neighbours refused access to render the walls. they engaged lawyers i couldn't afford to. not something i would recommend. i had an accident 12 mts ago so no wages commeing in, but my wifes $600 p/week. just paying interest only$3.500 a mth. credit cards just about maxed out. standard hia contract not worth the ink. the build is two townhouses at hilton they say two weeks to go !
