Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 11, 2007 4:54 pm hi we are building with c_h in melbourne, i have noticed that above the aluminium sliding windows in the bathroom, and the ensuite, there is a 20mm gap above the window frame and the galvanised lintel. Is this common, all the other window are a tight fit pulling up on the window seal.

This is pretty normal I think. Here is a pic of where my bifold door is (your sliding door is the standard) and it has a piece of wood above it too.
