Just check that your waste pipes are in the right spot Re: Bicko’s Rothwell 23 build in Devonia Park - Pipes 65Sep 20, 2010 9:07 pm catjim Just check that your waste pipes are in the right spot LOL, pipes are in the right spots anyway, I was checking over the slab and the inspector turned up. It was good to have a chat with him as he explained the some of the design principles behind waffle pod slabs. Makes more sense now. He checked out the works and picked up on several issues and got straight on the phone to the supervisor to sort out before the pour in the morning. If these are not sorted the pour will be cancelled. I’m pretty happy with this bloke (especially for an inspector provided by the builder) let’s see what happens, I’ll be there at 7am with the list I put together Re: Bicko’s Rothwell 23 build in Devonia Park - Pipes 66Sep 20, 2010 9:11 pm We were there at the right time to speak to our inspector too. We were also impressed. It may be that he was instrumental in getting our pipe moved. He said that he isn't supposed to get involved in anything plumbing or electrical but said that he would do what he could about the pipe. I wondered whether it would go ahead as it was raining where we are when I got up this morning. Re: Bicko’s Rothwell 23 build in Devonia Park - Getting tank 69Sep 21, 2010 9:24 am Sweet, lookin good Bicko. I can't believe how quickly the land titles, and houses are cropping up at the back of the estate. It took like 6 months for our land to be ready, and it seems like only a few months after that everything else was done! Re: Bicko’s Rothwell 23 build in Devonia Park - Getting tank 80Sep 21, 2010 2:40 pm yeah i wasn’t expecting a stipple finish on the porch. the contract specs even state that the porch concrete will require a to be concreted later on. so score. apparently the frame will be complete by the end of the month. lets see So I'm just reading up on this ecosystem of lights.
