Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 30, 2010 10:36 pm Hi, We are hoping to build with Fairhaven Homes in Melbourne's south east. Just looking at a Prelim Estimate, hope that it's fair in prices, value and quality. Is any one else doing/done the same? How did you go and did you find the quality and value OK? Looking forward to hearing from someone! Re: Anyone building with Fairhaven homes? 2Aug 30, 2010 10:56 pm Hi there, we are building with fairhaven homes as well as a few other people on this site. We are building Barwon with a slightly different facade. I found their prices to be fair and reasonable, but i found that their quality of work and designs to be better and more practical than those of the bigger builders and. Besides that, the site supervisor we have is great and our customer relation officer is extremely great. If you want a job done properly... Do it yourself! Re: Anyone building with Fairhaven homes? 5Aug 31, 2010 12:24 pm kavother All i can say is building is a headache and the quality represented in the display homes does not mean your home will turn out that way. Hi Kavother, Yes I am dreading it a bit, we have built once before. Last time we had a few headaches (and regrets) but overall it was worth it in the end. Hoping the good outweighs the bad. We are looking to do a KDR with fairhaven homes, Have seen plenty of good reviews about them pre construction and plenty of negative reviews about them during contruction… 0 18014 Wish you all the best. Once you signed the contract, they will find millions excuses to charge you. And have seen their sites unfinished for a long time. 4 24717 wondering anyone built with omaxe homes and care to share their experiences. thanks 0 13777 |
