We signed the contract with Hermitage on 28th July, 2010. The building permit was received on 4th of August. Anybody has idea by when site work work should start? Is there any law in case site does not start within next month or so? Has anybody experience the same situation like us?

I'm not at that stage of my build yet but from what I've read, you should check your contract, they normally list information about the site date, etc.
Have you contacted your builder and asked yet?

Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I have read the building contract and like many other thing they have covered themselves.
I checked with Hermitage and they informed me that my file is with their 'production estimator' . Once this production team done the work , it will be passed to team that book the trade guy's for actual work. This is the story I am hearing for the last 4 week. Fails to understand what the hell is happening there?
Thought if any one of you been through this pain , wanted to know when this pain will be over finally.
