Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 25, 2010 9:40 pm Hi guys,
I was browsing around and couldn't find any topics on bricks. We have our external colour selection appointment this Friday and we are tossing around a few bricks. Just wondering if by chance, anyone selected the Cement brick from PGH and if you could post some photos of the end result of the house. I want to stay away from the creams and reds, and try something new/fresh, but scared that it won't turn out too good. Or, any opinions? We are building with Clarendon, and the facade we chose was Kingston. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Lizzy Stardust's house has PGH Cement bricks (has a contrasting colour on the portico) if you look through her thread she has posted some brick pics around page 13. She has PCI this week so she may be too busy to post any more photos but you could send her a pm. http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=16418&start=240 There are some clarendon threads - can you post a picture of the facade? I can see the Cement brick, unfortunately, it's not much . Here is the Promenade facade. It might be too late now. Wished that I had found out about this forum earlier. It's so tricky with bricks. The colours vary with the batches. Re: Requesting photos of PGH Brick - Cement 6Aug 26, 2010 8:44 pm Hi emi! I think that's a great looking facade and will look very nice with the PGH cement. What other colours have you chosen? ie for roof, doors, rendered sections? Good luck with colour selection. If we are going ahead with the Cement brick, we would probably choose Charcoal for the roof tile and Monument for the gutter. Fascia and downpipes will probably be paperbark and windows stone beige. Entry door and garage will be timber. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ 0 1770 Hi, Currently building, we are on a sloping block so we have from floor level to the roof in axon cladding.
