This is an insert from the real estate section in the local paper "South Eastern" Star Real Estate...

Top 10 builder Carlisle Homes will now be building homes in the west & north west of Melbourne.
New display villages with brand new designs will be opening at the Rise, Tarneit at the end of November & Delfin, Caroline Springs in January 2008.

Previously specialising in the South East, the company has expanded to meet demand for their innovative & award winning quality homes from consumers in other areas...

Cheers,
Mike.
Still Mexican territory.
hmmm....I wonder if they will build in my area? Inner north west?? I may have to check it out.....should I mention that I know Matt??
LOL!

Personally I wouldn't!!
Hey Matt, seriously speaking....do they alter their plans? I like the single story layouts but would want to make a few changes here and there! And what are their standard inclusions like? I am serious about looking into them....we still aren't completely convinced with any of our current selection of builders....

Ruth,

When it came to alterations I found them to be fairly accomodating (as did Firthy i think) they will move / remove non structural walls. They will extend rooms out etc.

The standard inclusion list was reasonable compared to the other big builders but I spent over $100,000 in upgrades without going OTT!!!

They are worth a look
Thanks I am on their site now, pretty happy with some of their inclusions....I will be scouring your blog and posts again to see if I can find out more info and then go and find their display homes!

Hey Ruth.

Compared with other builders we originally got quotes from for alterations etc.. Carlisle were very helpful & could help us with everything we wanted. eg. knocking out walls, moving walls, extensions, windows, door sizes etc.
Take a look at our blog & read one the original posts. A little in there about it.

Would definately recommend taking a drive one w/end & checking out their display homes over this side of town.

Overall we are very happy with their progress... up to this point!

Cheers,
Mike.
