Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 24, 2010 11:33 am Hi Guys, We have been in our house for nearly a year now, and we have noticed (yes, i know it took us a while cause they were working fine so didnt think anything of it) that what was meant to be IXL Tastic's installed in the ensuite and main bathroom, they have actually put in a cheaper brand even though we have been chraged for the IXL's. Do you think its too late to speak to the builders about getting the right ones put in or a refund? Thanks Building Our First Home! PCI Date - 28/08/09!!!!! HANDOVER - 4th SEPTEMBER!!!!!! Shouldn't be an issue - just think about your approach. If you come in aggressive they'll definitely put their guard up. Explain the situation, and have two potential outcomes in mind (replacement or a credit back to you), builder can then discuss best option. Keep in mind, if you get the credit, you'll be given the difference most likely - not the full amount. Not sure if you are happy with that, and most importantly - can you live with that? yep you need a joint, foam is easiest, will look fine once rendered with a joint. 2 5236 Hi, have purchased a house with 2 single garage doors.
