Hi
Very new to this..so hopefully i get this right.
We bought land (well paid the deposit) in March this year to Stage 16 in Botanic Ridge.
We fell in love with a H3nly house..put down the initial deposit, did the ground work, then did the initial contract (ie told the sales rep what extras we wanted in the house), booked a colour appointment, did the ground work before the appointment, went to the colour appointment, did it 1/2 the time they recommended and then started the waiting game.......
visited our black to see the fence was starting on our land....placed a call to the sales office...yes, we could do a soil test...
called H3nly to advice this...and soil test booked...
10 days later....we received a phone call....sorry but we have to cancel your job...unable to work on your land...goes over our accepted levels.....
SO the next weekend immediate start on home search....while waiting for the sales rep to call us, as she advised us there would be other options to do, if we failed the soil test......mmmmm, still waiting for that call.
Did A LOT of ground work over the net, before the walk through the houses.....went to one display...liked it but not loved it....BUT the sales rep was fantastic...he advised (no...HIGHLY recommended) that we should ignore the big builders (including himself) and look at the smaller guys...they would be more willing to work with us and our 'problem' site.
So we went to the next display village and took on his advise and visited the smaller guys...well the first one - what can i say, rude man - not interested in you.....the second house....before we all walk through the display...ask a simple question and the answer is yes....
WOW...we fell in love....The Venetian, Aaron J Homes....what can i say, so far what a relief to find really a really helpful sales person and willing to go that little bit further BEFORE we have signed anything....they have been great...currently we are trying to work on the site leveling...what will be allowed??????
AND today we receive a phone call to advise us that settlement is very close......YEAH.....next phone call should be organising an appointment
