Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 23, 2010 10:38 pm Has anyone chosen Southern Stone, Strata. We have chosen Bluestone jet and are having second thoughts after seeing a similar one on display at the Home Show Have not seen the exact one, but am a bit nervous about it...didn't sleep last nite We think it is too late to change now but wondering if we should have chosen the Silver Travatine Snowdrift.... Travatine Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Bluestone Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Obviously this is not our bathroom but just to give you an idea... our cabinetry is Burnished wood and pure white ceasar stone bench tops in main ensuite and laundry. We have a strip of this through all 4 showers as well. It is the splashback in all 4 bathrooms, powder room and laundry, so you can imagine my dilema as it is EVERYWHERE. What do you think. Did we make the right choice? Re: HELP STRESSED. Opinions PLEEEAASE? 2Aug 24, 2010 8:37 am if it is to late to change~ then you absolutely made the right choice! it is going to look awesome!!! great choice, LOVE IT! (as will you) Re: HELP STRESSED. Opinions PLEEEAASE? 4Aug 24, 2010 11:31 am kyton I love the darker one if you have light everywhere else. The all "white" seems a little too glary. I agree. It is a gorgeous colour our castle Don't stress! It WILL look great! Re: HELP STRESSED. Opinions PLEEEAASE? 5Aug 24, 2010 11:35 am Love the Bluestone, the other is too light and with the burnished wood (good choice) will look striking. Floor tile are a slightly lighter shade of grey and as I said pure white benchtops. Re: HELP STRESSED. Opinions PLEEEAASE? 7Aug 24, 2010 8:56 pm You made the right choice!! The bluestone looks fabulous!! I know exactly what your going through, I did the same with my tiles and splashback You think about what you've chosen and you second guess your decision. Trust me, once you see it, you'll love it Re: HELP STRESSED. Opinions PLEEEAASE? 9Aug 24, 2010 9:08 pm I agree totally, I so prefer the darker shades. What a fabulous choice! Ahh, can you imagine laying in the bath, lighting a few candles, beautiful! Dear J.K. Rowling, Your books are entirely unrealistic. I mean, a ginger kid with two friends? I've bought a house 2 and a bit years ago and last year we had some major water damage on a converted pergola area… 0 7875 Yes, unless you are in a low intensity rainfall area or the area is protected from rain. Do you have access to NCC Part 2 or can you download it? I can email you a copy… 10 12354 Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7073 |
