Really lucky aren't we Dee. We went out there tonight and all the sand piles are finished. I'm sure there must be some technical term for sand pile but you get the idea. They still have to do the boxing, plastic, reo etc. The pour still MIGHT happen tomorrow though. Re: Our custom build in Devonia Park Pakenham 88Sep 13, 2010 9:29 pm oh yeah!! tommorow!! I think you may need to do the slab-on-slab thing (if you guys are drinkers.. lol).. some really excitable couple did that once with another builder as they had quite the journey to the slab! Doh! Re: Our custom build in Devonia Park Pakenham 97Sep 14, 2010 10:00 pm Thanks guys. We got some photos too and I think they are planning to pour tomorrow. Problem is that the ensuite toilet waste pipe is in the wrong position. I pointed this out to them yesterday and it hasn't been fixed. The inspector was there tonight inspecting the boxing and he said he really shouldn't get involved in the plumbing but would contact them about it. We've sent an urgent email tonight with photos showing the existing pipe location and a tape measure marking where it should be. Re: Our custom build in Devonia Park Pakenham 99Sep 15, 2010 9:24 am jabblo We put a few coins in ours soo we would always have money in the house. So did we. I thought DH would just laugh and tell me I was an idiot but he dutifully got down in a trench and planted the coins. Hope it works Re: Our custom build in Devonia Park Pakenham 100Sep 15, 2010 10:13 am Have just been advised that the problem pipe has been relocated. Will check tonight and hopefully there is a beautiful chunk of concrete on our block (not to mention a newly relocated pipe).
