Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 05, 2007 10:50 am Hi everyone!
I'm new to the forum, I've been lurking for a while (more like stalking Michelle's posts, lol) and thought I might out myself as things are starting to move at our place. This is the first house I have built (second for my husband), and he has left most of the choices up to me, so I am constantly doubting myself. I'll give you all the details I can remember off the top of my head so you all get a good picture! Looking forward to sharing this with you Renae We are building here http://www.stockland.com.au/Residential ... sta/About/ - On Queensland's Sunshine Coast! Updated with Completed House! 4Nov 05, 2007 1:47 pm Renae, welcome!! Looking forward to seeing your progress! Who is your builder? Ruth -Bought house in Melbourne inner burbs, knocked it down & now...we are owner builders! Completed OB project and moved in to our new home with our new baby in May 2009! Re: Our House! Progress shots! Updated with Completed House! 5Nov 05, 2007 5:21 pm Renae….Stockland’s……dirty word in this town for some…..Not me, I believe in progress, as long as it’s done right!
Next thing you have to do is a Colourboard….oh, and an Avatar!!! When you can muster both would be great! A colourboard is so much easier for us to look at your selections. And believe it or not….they are fun to do. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ They are a very useful tool to have while building or doing renos. You have all your selection in one place and are a must to show your builder…..no mistakes this way! Good luck, we are all interested in new projects. Welcome! Great design - and lovely part of the world to call home. Ray. Second Time 'Round Re: Our House! Progress shots! Updated with Completed House! 7Nov 07, 2007 10:56 am Thanks everyone
We are building with a local builder on the Sunshine Coast - Reef Homes, I found it has been a lot easier talking direct with the owner then a sales person. Michelle - I'll get to a colour board soon, I have seen a lot on the forum and would love to get around to doing one. Stockland have been ok so far, only thing we are really not impressed with is there is a Stormwater Manhole smack in the middle of our driveway, so we now can't cut into the gutter, oh well I guess I can live with that! and a avatar....let me see what I can do... Re: Our House! Progress shots! Updated with Completed House! 9Nov 21, 2007 6:09 pm Love all those single windows in the front, very nice!!!
Keep the photos coming….we are such sticky beaks!!! Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: Our House! Progress shots! Updated with Completed House! 11Nov 21, 2007 7:51 pm They are the double hung windows that slide up-wards.
Re- Comfort Glass - I'm not sure if they are.... All of the windows are tinted though except for the toilet and main bathroom. They ordered obscure glass for our ensuite (at the front of the house), but we wanted tint, so they will replace that at a later date. Renae Re: Our House! Progress shots! I'm surprised the builder has been so careful with that area while building??? Any advice on a builder in NSW who is demanding an extra 22000k after the house is completed and contract paid in full .Standard HIA contract. Never received a variation.… 0 20515 8 6147 5 6816 |
