I felt the same way, we've been in our house almost 7 months but it's taken a while to settle in ... loving it now though! Photos are great and your kitchen is FANTASTIC I love the cupboard with the door that slides up (can't remember what it's called now?), really wanted one of those! Looking forward to more pics ... especially once the pool area is complete! Re: Switch Homes - WE'RE IN! Updated Pics :) 231Feb 04, 2011 10:51 am dreamhan Hi lilfeggle, where did you end up getting your aircon? We are looking into Actron systems and I can't remember who else was... Hi Dreamhan, Suprisingly we don't need aircon, we've somehow been able to passive cool the house. With it's white roof, high pitch, high ceilings and windows in the right place, double block out roller blinds and eave vents the house remains cool, just don't open the windows when the wind is hot blowing in from the east. We've survived this summer (so far) with just some fans on those extreme hot nights, we've got an awesome gas heater, we'll see how she does over winter - then we might go with the full ducted refigerated. Just can't wait to get out of this evap aircon in this rental... wow, your story sounds exactly like ours, our old house (which we sold) had black tiled roof - never again and the rental we were in had evap but no insulation so the house was freezing in the winter and a hot box in the summer Follow Feggle viewtopic.php?f=31&t=34992 Follow lilfeggle viewtopic.php?f=31&t=37149 Asbestosis Sux!
