Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 12, 2010 6:14 pm Hi everyone, I am building a home with Porter Davis and have just done my electrical plan, The only extras I have are 3 baton lights, 5 downlights, 2 extra tv points, around 10 extra double power points, 4 extra floodlights, a doorbell and 1 4 way switch and 3 3 way switches. This is costing me an additional $2400 from the standard lighting plan. My question is would it be cheaper to just get an electrician in after the house is built or is what they are charging me about right?
