Depressed Re: Soakwells !!! 2Aug 11, 2010 4:44 pm Hey Mindblower, Dont do it with the builder, they will cost heaps! have a look around for places in your area and compare quotes. I have prepack (plastic milk crate things) for the whole house in perth (sandy) for $1100. Getting them installed at lockup (builder is nice) They are better on the environment and easier to install/cheaper! Other wise search on homeone, there are afew posts about soakwells now Garden - viewtopic.php?f=19&t=44214&p=670323#p670323 Decorating - viewtopic.php?f=6&t=47218&p=715743#p715743 Re: Soakwells !!! 4Aug 11, 2010 7:47 pm Were ova a barrell As booked paving with them they wont let an outside contractor do soakwells before handover, so hands tied. Robbers...they know they got ya. Re: Soakwells !!! 6Aug 12, 2010 2:40 am My site supervisor (not Plunkett) said there was nothing they could do to stop me putting in soakwells on the weekends, and the suggested I do it after the roof is on. Admittedly I'm digging them in myself. The only catch was they said if I wanted them to remove any sand then it would cost me extra to get a variation order put in, but in my case I actually want to keep the sand for landscaping. I'd suggest talking directly to your site supervisor rather than the administrators in the office. Use concrete soakwells anywhere that there will be paving, especially trafficable areas. Personally I will only use the concrete ones, and fill the space around them with blue metal. |
