PLUS - just ordered the lights for above my island bench, my kithen spotlights, and a few flush ceiling mounts for meals, lounge & family areas. i haven't decided on whether to get downlights down hallway yet or not, probably will but have other expenses for now, so i will just have the ol' Simonds shades on them awhile longer. here ar emy choices: 3 of these to go over island bench: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ spotlights for kitchen: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ ceiling lights for meals, lounge & family area: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ ordered from buysterlighting.com.au and thin kwe will get our stools through them too - found some chocolate brown ones which will match my glass splashback perfectly and not get as grubby as the white we were going to get! here they are: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ not sure if the lip of the island bench is really deep enough to warrant stools so might do some measuring first.... Havent seen stools in that colour before. It's a refreshing change from the whites and reds me either, i was excited when i found them!! our whole kitchen is high gloss white, with latte c/s benches and choc brown splashback, and since we have 3 grubby kids i was worried more white would just give me more headaches....so choc brown it is cant wait to put the lights up, sick of these little triangle hats my bare light bulbs are wearing! We've looked into the building permit situation for our verndah over the large outdoor deck and to get a permit would add on about $2k to the price!! Damn Frankston council So we're building the pergola posts, which you dont need permit for, and doing thick shade sails for now, and will do a proper roof for it next year when we have more money. Phew! Busy times Would love to have it all ready and a bit more grass before Cup Day as we're having our first annual Cup Day party here! Caz & Co ALL MOVED IN!!
