It's time for celebration! We finally have a phone line and INTERNET and as promised I have some photos for you! Aside from a couple of kids bedroom pics the photos are all taken at night! I really need to take some day time ones as I find that the night time ones don't necessarily give a good indication of colours (especially the kitchen splashback) AND it is still a work in progress.......but here goes anyway! Master bedroom (it looks so tiny from this angle but our bed is actually king size) I plan to put something over the bed head (perhaps a wall hanging or a possibly a wedding photo not sure yet) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ KIDS' BEDROOMS I haven't finished decorating yet. I am going to get some sort of shelving (or something?? Not really sure Possibly some ikea expedit shelves)... and want to hang some items on the walls but I'm not brave enough to start banging holes in the walls until I decide exactly where furniture will go. One of my boy's rooms (again the room looks so small from these angles but bear in mind his bed is a king single- and I'm not exactly the best photographer) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Another boy's room Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Yet another boy's room (THREE boys- aren't I lucky!) Re: M&J's Build- FINALLY back with more pics page 18 346Jun 18, 2011 11:34 am We're finding the flooring really good so far- No complaints here. I find it easy to clean etc. We got ours from a solomons flooring store The main wall colour is dulux white duck (1/2 strength) and the feature wall colour is dulux linseed. The kitchen splashback is also linseed- matched to the feature wall colour although I don't think the photos have done it justice! Looks nicer in real life! If you did go with that- how are you finding it! We need to cover a fence and have picked out a Chinese Star Jasmine. I'm certainly not a green thumb so we wanted something that would grow well in this funny climate. I'm certainly not a green thumb so we wanted something that would grow well in this funny climate. Haven't planted any climbers yet - still cultivating weedus humungous. I don't think you can go wrong with a Star Jasmine though - we have one along one of our fences that belongs to next door that grows madly without any attention. I think I'm going to go with a Mandevilla though - has gorgeous trumpet like flowers and glossy green leaves, and apparently grows like mad too. Re: M&J's Build- FINALLY back with more pics page 18 352Jun 18, 2011 4:56 pm Yeah we've got a few varieties of weedus humungous too, Evelyn! lol Rebecca- Our benchtop is Hi Macs Satin Finish Colour: Gemini Cupboards are Polytec Porcelain Gloss and the area underneath the waterfall benchtop is Laminex Licorice Linea (although it is hard to see the colour very well in these photos!) The glass splashback has been matched to Dulux Linseed- but again the photos aren't a very good indication of the true colour Re: M&J's Build- FINALLY back with more pics page 18 354Jun 18, 2011 7:58 pm Wow, its all gorgeous!
