I was initially not impressed as I thought we had specified that the handles should be centred on the doors, but it seems that short statement got lost between variation drafts and I can live with it, there is only one set of cupboards in the kitchen and the scullery is really not a trafficable area anyway Thinking my kitchen might be coming sooon... my new build thread- Ben Trager https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89826 my switch build thread (2011) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=36569 Re: Building switchthree90-Cabinets!!!!! pg 28 545Oct 24, 2011 7:53 pm lol barb! Great colour selections. 1. Getting airconditioning & driveway done before handover - we asked the same question and was told they would not allow other trades in before handover in case of damage. 2. Eiffel- I do a lot of baking, its one of the reasons I wanted the scullery, and I'm SO excited about it Velouria- SO many places to hide stuff!! I can't wait Thanks Leoan and jaredlia Tim- I'm going to raise it with my SS, I figure I'll probably get away with the driveway but can't hurt to ask about the aircon. I haven't finalised the agg yet, its on my list! In other news- I dropped past this afternoon and they've been VERy busy Grano- Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Painting started- Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ And the tiles have been delivered (except the new feature tile) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I met the tiler and am having a formal tile meeting tomorrow with the SS- theres a couple of issues I need to raise with him. I think it looks great with your other selections too. Things are flying along! Love your scullery, wish I had one of those. Then again, in my house it would just be more flat surface to get covered in junk. Still want one though!! How cheeky is your tiler Re: Building switchthree90-Cabinets!!!!! pg 28 554Oct 25, 2011 8:26 pm Love your new tile and your house is stunning. Re: Building switchthree90-Cabinets!!!!! pg 28 555Oct 26, 2011 1:01 pm BW- he's very cheeky, but was genuinely surprised when I delivered said scones this morning! Chuffy- thanks, we're so excited! Had a tile metting today with the SS and all went well, he said pci should be 6 weeks from today! He said if we are happy there is no major issues then we can take keys at that point. We're very happy with the build, its all going really well, everything looks great. Managed to sort out a few issues while I was there and he was surprised at how well I knew the plans and addenda. Tiler should take 2 weeks, kitchen scheduled for saturday, so not sure if it'll be in friday or monday. Only issue is he's on leave from the 14th as his wife is having a baby, so someone else will be taking over which is a bugger, but never mind. That's awesome! You'll be in by Christmas then. Must be so good to hear!! So much to organise, the time will fly by. Looking forward to seeing the kitchen in, and really excited for you about the new ensuite tiles. Gee your tradies are lucky. I love to bake but DH works away and if I cook it, I eat it all! Wasteline expansion means no more baking. I will have to try feeding my tradies instead of my face! Jess Building switchthree90-Cabinets!!!!! pg 28 558Oct 28, 2011 10:07 am Bw- baking for others is great, no waistline expansion! Westy- I know!! Amazing the difference a year makes!
