I'm just going through all the paperwork and warranty cards and I'm not sure what to fill out. I have no docket to prove purchase, I do not know date of purhcase etc. What can I write on them? What matters is your proof of purchase - with date, and some form of proof (just in case) of the terms of the warranty (length, etc.). Someone once actually advised me (a while ago) not to fill out/sign the warranty cards, as it then restricts you to ALL of the conditions on it, whereas by not filling it out you had more room for arguement.... Re: How to fill out Warranty Cards 6Oct 30, 2007 9:40 am Guys, i'm assuming that Tam means the warranty cards that they recieved for the items in their new place. eg. oven rangehood etc. If that is correct, then the builder should be able to give you more information as they would have bought the appliances prior to installation in the house.

A few months before moving in we bought a few of the appliances ourselves for our builder to install. We had a warrant y claim with our oven (Blanco) and Blanco said that the warranty was from the day we moved in (they were very good, by the way). As Rodda says, what matters is the proof of purchase. These are what matter legally. it's going to be hard to inspect, and more importantly it's going to be hard too keep that area clean of any debris or food for termites, and it will provide a nice shaded… 1 1529 Just wanted some feedback what to do with this one.
