Adam Re: we have a building permit 5Oct 29, 2007 3:11 pm Wow adamtram, great news!!! We are hoping to get our permit approval in a few weeks, then on-site soon after.....again hopefully building permit 6Oct 29, 2007 6:27 pm Thanks everyone. Yes its getting very exciting . Its like waiting 9 months for a baby to be born thats how long it would have taken i guess from the first time we sat down and discussed the house at the display home. just heard from my sales consultant at PD. Site start is November 9th (a month earlier than expected) so thats when the tap goes in. And will be receiving final construction drawings this week. Hopefully all the little changes we made will be in them. They seem to be on the ball they picked a mistake in the drawings had to query with us wether we wanted a floating vanity or full length.
Adam tram it seems it hasnt taken long for you to get around to site start ! When did you first walk into the display house and selected everything. ?Ive been waiting since May this year. Your starting next Wednesday? be interesting to see if we keep up with each other at each stage.? your near me in lakeside.Phoenix it seems you may be building the same time as me and adam? Cynarion your time will come . how long do you have to wait? Re: we have a building permit 7Oct 29, 2007 10:53 pm Clath, it's great you have a start date, it will be interesting to see how PD and M3tricon compare over the journey with speed and the quality of the final job.
We started looking about 12 months ago, firstly with estates and then houses, we first put the deposit on the land and the house on the 21st July, and went straight to contract, so i suppose it has only been about 3 months of waiting. It went so quick with all the selection decisions. Looking forward to the race No, not yet. It’s currently being assessed by our building surveyor 4 6314 Looking to start the journey of becoming an owner builder in SA.
