I personally wouldn't be concerned about ss nails. I would prefer gal for the extra strength they provide. Ss has a lower shear strength to mild steel and doesn't expand and contract like mild also. Secondly the grade of stainless used in nails has a low nickel content than surgical or marine grade ss (316) so it can still rust regardless.
well - the point is that we paid extra for that in prestart costing and they should supply whatever is agreed upon. If they couldnot for whatever reason, they should have contacted us rather than just sneaking into using galvanised nails.
