Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 21, 2010 2:16 pm Hi All, Well the time has come in ones life to move out of the home nest and build a new one lol. The GF and I are looking to build a home out at Mernda Villages and are more than likely looking at a Henley home as they seem pretty good and out of the big ones offering the Fixed House & Land packages. If possible, and I guess PM would be better being the issues behind the TOU, just wondering what peoples opinions on Henley have been or are? I have done some searching and found Olllllld posts through here on it so looking to find out maybe some updated opinions from the last 6 months or so. I also have checked the Product Review website as well. Also some questions regarding this process. What things should we be on the lookout for and\or what questions might be relevant to ask prior to signing anything? We are tight on budget so trying to avoid blowout costs and so on for this reason. If there is a site or a topic on this already I wasn't able to find it so if someone can link it would be much appreciated as well. As said we are first time builders or buyers and trying to work out what we should be doing. As my parents had bought brand new pre-built houses they are unsure as well of the process and what to look out for or questions to ask as well. Anything that you think may be relevant please feel free to throw it out there. Can't say I've heard anything bad about them but really with the volume builders I find that your experience is effected by the staff you deal with and there's no way for you to control who you get. With regards to tips: I've found just generally browsing this forum really helpful. Maybe also try looking at this thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=32179s Good luck with the build Re: Building First Home - Mernda Villages - Absoloute Noob : 3Jul 21, 2010 2:35 pm Thanks!!! Lol The one search I forgot to do was Tips *shakes head* Much appreciated!!! So it looks like we finally have some movement on site!
