GREAT LOOKING BRICKS!!! Woo Hoo! They seem to be flying along Congrats Thanks Sleven and congrats on handover, your place looks amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a question for you and boiselfish...how did your bricks come up after they were cleaned? Alot of the sandy stuff has come off the face of the brick making them look more of a beige colour rather than a misty sort of colour. Did this happen to yours??? Hi Janelle, Sorry just read through your thread! Yes a lot of the lovely grey came off once they were washed - I was shattered - but the colour has grown on me. BUT - they have all turned green - on handover our SS said that when it comes to 3 months maintenance they will have to be acid washed/neutralised again... if they still look yucky after the next clean i might try and convince DH to get the house rendered and painted a nice grey! Good news, I had handover on 11th March, just over 3 weeks ago. The builder still needs to come back to fix some things but for the moment I'm just happy to finally be in. Since handover I've had the flooring installed and my driveway done. I've built a fence, put up my clothes line, put in my front garden, letterbox, towel rails and toilet roll holders, still so much to do. Needless to say my muscles are a bit sore. Here are some pic's. They are so easy to clean, which is a bonus and really nice to walk on. This is the link to the website of the supplier I went through http://www.bambooandtimber.com.au/ The colour of mine is called Australiana.
