We've been looking at some gutter protection from leaves, and have received two quotes so far. Quotes are upwards of $3500! I never expected this!

He used the powder coated bluescope leaf man gutter guard product. (http://www.theleafman.com.au) He charged us $24 /lm + GST so it end up costing just over $2000 for 78lm. We always recommend that keeping any overhanging trees cut back by at least one metre from the gutter is an important strategy for minimising blockages. Most houses don’t really have enough downpipes, it’s best to have at least one downpipe for every 10 metres of gutter.
