It's the picture that remains in my head, but does not mean I will automatically discount the method completely. After all just like you could make a bad brick I'm sure there could be a lot of factors involved down to what was used in the make up.
I don't know, do termites tend to have an effect on rammed earth? That would be my primary concern.
