Re: A & E's House! Pg 78: Spare bedrooms jazzed up :) 1582Jul 11, 2011 11:52 am ^^^ Note from experience..don't bother with the shurline roller gadget you can get! A good brush and steady hand are much better! Deemaree Kyndylan Capers: viewtopic.php?f=36&t=46852 My blog: http://www.sufficientlysufficient.blogspot.com/ Re: A & E's House! Awesome job (you're making me feel bad through - I have cans of paint waiting - but no energy to paint ) Sleven Moved into our Atlantique MkII 36 by Carlisle Homes Re: A & E's House! I only want to paint half of her wall but I want a clean crisp line. I have heard that the trick when using tape, is to peel it off before the second coat is completely dry. Less chance of peeling paint and so on than if you wait too long. Just my 2c worth Erin, your spare bedrooms look amazing!! You could be opening a hotel with all your style, people would feel so comfortable there! Regarding the floor coverings on the previous page, I reckon go with No.4, the one that looks like dreadlock beads...it is a soft, fine finish with a bit of contrast, but not as loud as No.6 Geoff - Decophile. I only want to paint half of her wall but I want a clean crisp line. Went to Bunnings (where else do I go these days) and saw a new product, it's the paint masking tape in a dispenser, which you just put on the architrave or wall etc and run it down the wall. It normally takes me ages to make sure I have the masking tape right to the edge and I always have to touch up after I remove the tape, with this dispenser it was fantastic first time and no touch up required. It was a bit pricey I think around $16 and you can buy the refills for about $13 which isnt too bad as the normal rolls are around $9..
