Does anyone have any recommendations for house design software? All of our ideas are jotted down on bits of paper at the moment and it would be nice to have a computer program we could play around with.

Another one is Plan 3D but it's more expensive and harder to use and more leaning towards USA builders. MVH is made in Australia for Australian conditions/products/standards etc. Of course there are more professional packages but these are usually over $1000. After 2 false starts, a year living overseas, two more world trips and 3 years of uncertainty we are now starting the build process again - hopefully for real this time!
