Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 04, 2010 4:36 pm Hey all, We are due to move into our M house shortly and I was wanting some ideas for lighting. In the bedrooms we have just got globes coming out of the ceiling. To make these look nicer we where contemplating changing them to oysters after hand over - how difficult/expencive is this to achieve? Is it just a matter of buying an oyster shade? Any other idea for avoiding the "globe in the ceiling" look would be HUGELY appreciated! Those DIY would not be as flush to be ceiling compared with those requiring electricians' ones cos of the globe.
