Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Water/condensation behind picture frames on walls? 6Jul 02, 2010 6:19 pm lachjor I don't think there would be pipes in that wall.. it's the far back bedroom and we are double brick... so we wouldn't have/need insulation? Maybe it IS just the cold weather... might leave the picture off the wall tonight and see what the wall looks like in the morning. It did rain quite heavy last night, I dunno if it's even possible for a leak to come out through a screw hole though? Hmmmm... double brick, even more unlikely, as I said that's my whole background, double brick, Northern hemisphere. The only way that double brick walls "leak" is when the mortar bridges the brick ties, allowing the moisture to track from outside to inside. I think it's a problem. Tel. 1800 326 326 Old Home Restoration / Renovation Hi, just discovered all these junks left behind under the floor. Could any of these be asbestos? Best to leave as it is or clean up? Thank you for your thoughts 0 8098 That sucks! Hope it all works out. Good to move away from steel anyway for all your reasons, but it's also thermally poor. 16 17911 |
