Should all the skirtings line up with the floor tiles or not?
Have a look at the pics below. What do u think? Good job or bad?

Even then, shower bases won't usually line up with wall tiles, because the floor tiles need to be cut and laid to give the best fall for drainage. And vertical feature strips throw everything out too. Re: Tiling Dilemma 6Jul 02, 2010 2:31 pm Thanks for the reply guys. My floor tiles are 400X400 and the wall tiles are 400x200 so i naturally assumed that they should be no problem to line them up as they are the same length. My s.s says it cant be done but i have seen many homes where they are neatly line up and follow one grout line. Its just visually appealing to me. Re: Tiling Dilemma 7Jul 02, 2010 2:39 pm It still looks lovely regardless. It isnt really noticeable, as your attention is drawn to your feature tile. Dear J.K.
