Browse Forums Building A New House Re: The Hunt Club 22Aug 26, 2011 2:53 pm We've been at our new house for 2 months and not a single mail has come to us inspite of doing (and paid for) a redirection of mail request with the AU Post. Apparently for new addresses we have to request the Casey City Council to advise the Post Office to add it to their mailing directory (we only learnt about this when we enquired with the Post Office hotline). Two weeks after contacting the City Council, still no mail received. Quite frustrating. And yeah, when I rang the Council to enquire about our rates, it is $717.65 which we can pay on or before 15/02/2012 or if paying installments $179.42 is due on 30/09/11. The vote has to go in by 30th of Sept, else your vote would be deemed for retaining Cranbourne East as thats the status quo. The options given are - (i) Cranbourne. (ii) Cranboure East. (iii) Casey Fields. (iv) Balla Balla. (v) Name of the resident's choice. My vote goes for Casey Fields - guess thats a bit more fancier than the rest. Or maybe Casey Springs? Or just plain Casey... I liked Casey Meadows etc...however will only go unheard as nobody else would have proposed that name apart from us... Re: The Hunt Club 27Sep 02, 2011 10:44 am Casey is such a beautiful name and pretty much will set us apart from the Cranbourne name and let us create our own reputation for being one of the best areas to live in this part of southeast Melbourne. Hope majority of the landowners will come to the party and cast their vote so it can be passed to adopt the new suburb name. Travelling from HC to the city is still manageable, I drive to the train station and then take the train fr Cranbourne to CBD. It will be good if they build the proposed ext train just outside HC, coz then I can just walk to the train station. I am hoping to move to Hunt Club by early Nov. Work in the city and agree that having that new station come up close to Hunt Club would make our lives easier... Re: The Hunt Club 30Oct 28, 2011 6:21 pm Any working mom here? We'll be moving to Hunt Club soon and I'm working in the CBD area. Any idea until what time is the childcare open? I'm thinking of driving to CBD,hopefully the traffic is not so bad around 7:30 in the morning and in the afternoon. Re: The Hunt Club 31Feb 03, 2012 5:31 pm I' ve seen some houses with side fences around 1 meter in height. Is this allowed here? Thanks |
