Re: Dee's House plans 182Oct 23, 2010 10:29 am Re: shower door..there just doesn't seem as if there would be a lot of space there if you are standing facing the shower which is hard in the corner and having the vanity behind you and trying to open the door and stepping in..if any of that makes sense? I'd be testing the space by going through it in an actual space that matches the measurements.. I will definately have to check it out that would be a terrible thing to get wrong. Thankyou Re: Dee's House plans 184Nov 09, 2010 2:57 pm update: We signed the prelim for our house at the beginning of November and received our first ever pre-start book. So excited now the fun of choosing stuff begins I think I will start a new thread for the build. I must say though the service at K has reduced dramatically since we signed First the contact person listed in our book for pre-start doesn't even work there anymore and I phoned with a question the morning after we received the book The sales rep hardly ever answers our questions (he used to phone or email us back almost immediately now it takes days to get a response if at all) but apparently that is now up to pre-start and we are not allowed to contact the person at pre-start yet either??. Which would be fine except, the book is missing things such as the type of laminex and profiles etc we can choose, it just has brochures on upgraded stuff we have no idea what is standard?. Is that normal? I must say I was warned though, so luckily it's not bothering me as much as it would of if I hadn't expected it. It's still a bit frustrating though Re: Dee's House plans 185Nov 09, 2010 3:18 pm congrats!!! at last!!! yay send us the link here, when you do start a thread. cant help you with the book, but good luck! Study books - does anyone really use them these days? Large storage closet would be more functional. 2 6883 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13769 If there have been changes, variations, during construction then the drawings should be revised, the building permit amended and the current, as built drawings given to… 2 4480 |
